Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen

Shai Forman

I am delighted to represent Gilbert Days Rodeo as the 2023 queen. For nearly two decades I have called Prescott, Arizona home. Being a native of Arizona I am blessed to utilize both the forest and desert regions around the state to trail ride with my horse and bike on with my mountain
bike. Aside from that, I also participate in local barrel racing jackpots, with my horse Star. My rodeo queen horse, (who will also appreciate receiving a carrot or two if you have it), is Charlie. Together Charlie and I have traveled countless miles representing the greatest sport in the dirt. I
have been fortunate to hold the titles that have helped shape me into who I am today such as Yavapai County Fair and Rodeo Teen Queen, and Miss Teen Rodeo Arizona. I am so excited to continue my passion to connect the community to rodeo and the agricultural aspects of Arizona
which keeps me inspired during college as Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen.
As I am currently in the process of finishing my Bachelors of Veterinarian Science degree, my 2023 year also entails me applying for veterinarian school where I plan to specialize in large animal medicine and give back to the rodeo community as a rodeo vet. When I am not buried in
textbooks, I love to bake, pamper my fat cat named Nugget, and spend time with my friends and family. I am also a heavy traveler both domestically and internationally! From traveling on the rodeo road throughout nearly all of Arizona, my rodeo family has flourished, and I am humbly grateful for the support of everyone.  With this title I plan to continue being a mentor and role model to young girls to go after their dreams. My motivation for this is from all the inspirational women I have met during my involvement that have sparked the fire inside of me to lead others by their examples of kindness, grace, and western grit. Which is why I aim to continue my platform “What’s your Dream?”.  The connections I can continue and create mean so much to me because I know that these young ladies have the potential to be future a Miss Rodeo America and if no one asks what their dream is we can never nurture it. So, what is your dream? I look forward to the opportunities and community involvement I get to dive in to representing Gilbert Days Rodeo as the 2023 Queen.
Happy Trails,
Shai Forman

Gilbert Days Teen Queen

Kialyn Armstrong

Hi my name is Kialyn Armstrong,

I am super excited to be back a second year with my Gilbert Days Rodeo family. I was blessed in 2022 to wear the Gilbert Days Princess crown as my first title and this year to be able to come back as the 2023 Gilbert Days Teen Queen is truly an honor.

I will be 15 in April and attend online school at Arizona Agricultural Equine Center as a freshman. My goal is to become a veterinarian/chiropractor. I started competitive cheerleading at age 4 and worked hard for many years and received many national titles.  When covid hit  and there wasn't much to do I decided to learn to barrel race. I have 4 barrel horses and my new Queen horse named “Rodeo”.  In 2022 I won my first  WCRA Youth Division Championship Title in barrel racing. I am also sitting number one in the standing and working hard to repeat for 2023. I compete in many different associations such as NBHA, QCBRA, SABRA, GCPRA, and CCOBRA and in doing so it has made me realize the wonderful heritage and opportunities the rodeo world has to offer like amazing friendships and families to meet along the way. I truly hope that while I’m barrel racing or traveling as the Gilbert Days Rodeo Teen Queen that I can reach just one little rodeo fan that’s says to their parents I want to do that!!!

I have seen firsthand the true beauty in the western heritage and I want to continue to spread the western lifestyle. I am extremely humbled and honored to be the 2023 Gilbert Days Rodeo Teen Queen and looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone at the Gilbert Days Rodeo. If you see me walking around, please stop me to say hello or even take a picture.  Gilbert Rodeo is always a fun family event!!!

See You on the Rodeo Road

Gilbert Days Rodeo Princess

Bryton Bradshaw

Hello! My name is Bryton Bradshaw and I am honored to represent my favorite rodeo as the 2023 Gilbert Days Rodeo Princess! I am 13 years old and have been blessed to grow up riding horses since I could sit up. I attend Santan Junior High where I play the violin in the orchestra and run track. I enjoy competing on my horse T-Cup in the Queen Creek Gymkhana Club and was the year-end high point winner for 3 years straight. I also play on a competitive club volleyball team and I love the unity of working as a team for a common goal. In my spare time, I like to cook and babysit and I am often found helping with our family horse boarding operation. I find joy in doing community service and I love being with my family. I have never missed a Gilbert Days Rodeo and I want to keep it that way! My mother Kelsee was also a Gilbert Days Rodeo Princess when she was my age. My father Colter is a team roper in the WSTR and grew up roping at the original Gilbert Days Rodeo grounds where my mom & dad first met. My western heritage is very important to me and I cherish the values it instills in me. I hope to be able to share the importance of preserving the western lifestyle with others as well as to “Kick Up Kindness” as one of the original Gilbert Days platform states which was started by my Nana in the 1990’s. I also look forward to getting to meet people across Arizona and inviting them to the Gilbert Days Rodeo and seeing it continue to thrive and impact people in a positive way. I am grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to seeing you all at Gilbert Days 2023!
